Guarded is a keyword from Halo: Flashpoint. It was introduced in Wave 2 in the War Games expansion

This soldier doesn't have a vulnerable head area, either because of their particular anatomy or extra protection from their equipment.
Rules[edit | edit source]
When a model with this keyword is the taget of a Shoot action which uses a Ranged text (x) to hit the model, the Ranged test dice roll will not benefit from Headshots. 8s (or 7s in some cases) are a success, but grant no extra dice.
